Tacklebox Georgetown

Hit up Tacklebox today for lunch. This is hands down one of our favorite places to have a nice quick and healthy weekend lunch.

For those unfamiliar, they take the concept of extremely fresh sustainable seafood of its bigger more upscale next door brother Hook and make it quick, accessible, relatively cheap and just as tasty.

I had the lobster roll at $19dollars and my wife had the main meal with Bluefish, salad and sweet potato fries at $13dollars. The lobster roll was just average and not anything that I would write home about. The biggest problem being that it was put on a harder roll and not the more authentic soft roll like you get in Maine. The fries were amazing. Better than Five guys and some of the best in the city. My wifes bluefish on the other hand was just amazing. Fresh, tasty and perfectly grilled. The sweet potato fries are not to be missed, but the salad is. Skip it and get the $9 fish and one side special.
